Shani Jayanti 20th May, 2012

Shani Jayanti is considered to be the day of the birth of Shani dev. This day falls on Amavasya or New Moon day in the Hindu month of Vaishakh. Hence, it is also referred to as Shani Amavasya. This Sunday, the 20th of May, is Shani Jayanti. Worship Lord Shani on this day too and those who have any problems or those who are under Shani's Mahadasha or under Sadheysati can benefit by praying to Shani Maharaj on Shani Jayanti.
